Accommodation

In Deia we stay in a typical Spanish Pension near the top of the village, in a spectacular location overlooking the village, with views across to the mountains.

 We stay in a luxury 4* hotel either in Soller, or in the Port, depending on availability. Both hotels have excellent facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, as well as an excellent restaurant.

 Tossals Verds mountain refuge, which is run by the local authority, is at an altitude of 540 metres above sea level, and surrounded by the Tossals group of mountains. It is also a donkey sanctuary and a dry stone walling centre of excellence. The facilities are shared and we sleep in dormitories.

 Sanctuari de Lluc is a very special place to stay. The “cells” are modern twin bedded rooms with en suite bathrooms, situated in the very heart of the monastery complex.

 In Pollenca we stay in a lovely traditional town centre hotel, situated on the old town square. It is reputed to be the oldest hotel in Majorca, and remains in the same family ownership. The rooms have satellite TV and air conditioning.
